What is GMT Extra Warranty?

You only need to pay a few amounts of latch and you can enjoy safe and even longer warranty services from us.

We have a reliable after-sales service for our customers, so you can feel safe to use our products. To satisfy our customers, the acceptance for repairs and warranty extension service will also be provided by us.

Please read the Stipulations of the GMT Extra Warranty before you join it.




You will no need to worry even when the following troubles take place:



• Fall: You have dropped your watch accidentally.
• Fire accident: Your watch is damaged by others’ fire accident (Need accident proof)
• Submergence: Your watch is accidentally been submerged.
• Storms: Your watch is accidentally damaged by thunder, wind or snow.
Types that cannot be covered:
Missing, scamming, natural causes (earthquake, Tsunami, eruption and water disaster), natural consumption, scratches or stains.




Characteristics of GMT Extra Warranty



• Point 1: low apply fee.
  (for example, you will only need to pay ¥5,250 for ¥300,000 product to apply for 5 years extra warranty)
• Point 2: If is new product, you can enjoy 5 years extra warranty.
  (Used, consignment sales and antiques, we offer 3 years warranty.)
• Point 3: The maximum price of the product is ¥2,000,000.
• Point 4: Deductible is ¥1,000.
• Point 5: When you hand over to other people, you can change the applicant’s name.
  (However, there will be some qualifications.)

Extra Warranty’s process



• 1. Please check the documents with you
  Please prepare your extra warranty certificate (安心サービス加入証書)
  ※ If you do not have it with you, you will not be able to apply for extra warranty. You will need to pay for your repair fee
  
  Please check the deadline of your warranty certificate.
  ※ If your deadline has been expired, you will not be able to apply extra warranty. You will need to pay for your repair fee.

• 3. Please send us your product that needs to be repaired.
  You will need to fill out the “Extra Warranty Accident Acceptance Form”(安心サービス事故受付票). If you have a printer, please print out the form from the following URL.

  Fill in all the information on it, and send it to us with your product. Do not forget to put your signature at the bottom of the form.
  If you do not have a printer, we can send it to you by post mail. Please let us know that you need it when you contact us.
  
  
  Please send us the product.
  After filling out your form
  • 1）Accident Acceptance form
  • 2）Extra warranty apply certificate
  • 3）Product that needs to be repaired
  • 4）Manufacturer’s original warranty (If you have it and it is still valid)
    ※ You will need to bear for the delivery fee.
  When your product and documents have arrived, we will check all of them and hand in your product to our professional repair company.
  ※ We will contact you if the documents are incomplete.


• 4. Repair Quotation~ Complete
  ※ Depends on your quotations, we will provide different services as well.
  
  
  □ The quotation price is included in the limit of the compensation.
  
  When finish repairing your product, we will contact you and ask you when do you want us to send your product back to you.
  If it is damage repair, you will have to pay ¥1,000 for the deductible.
  We will send the product and your apply certificate back to you.
  Please confirm them when you receive them.
  ※ Keep the certificate with you carefully. You will need it again when you apply next time.
  
  
  Complete
  ※ Normally will takes around 45 days from the day you send out your product. It might take longer in some special situations .(depends on your product and the manufacturer).
  
  
  
  □ If your quotation price is over the limit of compensation
  According to the policy of GMT Extra Warranty, it will be accepted as total damaged.
  We will contact you to see if you want to continue repair your product or you will like to exchange a new one.
  
  

  Continue Repair You will have to pay for the deficit. Repair Complete Pay for the deficit and the deductible *Payments that are qualify for deductible After your payment, we will send your product back to you. ※ Because of the total damage, your contract with GMT Extra Warranty will also be expired, so we will not return your apply certificate back to you. Please confirm your product when you have received it. Complete

  Exchange with a same product Exchange with a same product or in the equal level product. ※ You will also need to pay for the deficit. Decide which product you want to exchange. If the product is out of stock, we will give you the new product (in equal level) for exchange. Your extra service will be expired when your product is total damaged, so you will need to apply again if you need it. You will need to pay for the deficit and the deductible before we send you the product. *Payments that are qualify for deductible. We will send you the exchange product. Complete.
